Kimberly Brown

Jan 27, 2025

I’m a meditation teacher and author based in New York City. My teaching methods integrate traditional Buddhist techniques with modern self-compassion training as a means to help you reconnect your inherent clarity and openness. Since 2009 I’ve guided thousands of students to steady their mind, open their heart, and create meaningful and happier relationships with themselves and others. I work with people who find it difficult to truly care for themselves and their feelings, are deeply self-critical, or can’t understand why they’re unhappy—because I once felt the same way. I can help you develop personal insight, learn to meet struggles with kindness and wisdom, and cultivate new habits of mind and behavior through compassionate listening, sensitive reflection, and guided meditation instruction. I’m the author of "Steady, Calm, and Brave" and "Navigating Grief And Loss", and "Happy Relationships: 25 Buddhist Practices to Transform Your Connection with your Partner, Family, and Friends" will be released in 2025. All are published by Prometheus Books. My popular Substack newsletter is free and you can sign up at kimberlybrown.substack.com. Learn more about me and my work, and book a free intro session, at my website, www.meditationwithheart.com.
