Mexican born, raised in the north of the country, but with my heart in NYC, where I spent many years there studying and working. That's where my daughters were born and where I found my spiritual guide.
Searching for the truth within, but never being away from ordinary life, I went back to Mexico, where I worked in finance and business development, in different capacities and industries, I had jazz and blues spot in a college radio station and started a covers band with some of my closest friends. Music has been my companion all my life...I have some creations of my own in Spotify (JC Cuevas-Mar).
I started to study Tai Chi and Chi Qong and later on Mindfulness. And after a crazy undetected illness caused terrible joint pain, I had to do something...Perhaps I was preparing for this moment...and all of these teachings and practices have led me to realize that there is mystery that arises when the mind-body and heart are in harmony. Health was restored and here I am, ready to continue my practice of being present in the moment, so I can share it with all who are interested. Be here now!
