Jerry Varghese is a Certified Mindfulness Teacher Professional (CMT P), accredited by the International Mindfulness Teachers Association (IMTA), a Certified Yoga and Meditation Teacher (RYT 200), an OSHO Active Meditation Facilitator, and an experienced Sound Healer.
He is deeply committed to guiding individuals on their path to integrated well being and inner fulfilment. His mission is to support those who are ready to embrace the richness of the present moment and cultivate a life grounded in balance, harmony, and contentment.
Jerry’s journey began during his student years in Pune, India, where an early encounter with mindfulness sparked a lifelong pursuit of inner awareness. While building a successful career in the People Function across various organizations including a leadership role at a fast growing Series B startup the call to explore the deeper dimensions of life remained strong.
Eventually, he made the transformative decision to step away from the corporate world and fully dedicate himself to the path of meditation and mindfulness. His journey took him through Bali, Goa, Rishikesh, and Kathmandu, where he immersed himself in ancient practices and holistic traditions. It was during these travels that he discovered the profound resonance of singing bowls, an experience that has since become central to his healing and teaching work.
Jerry’s approach is a unique blend of ancient wisdom and modern science. He draws inspiration from spiritual traditions such as Vedanta, Samkhya, the Bhagavad Gita, and Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, while grounding his work in scientific insights into the mind and its impact on well being.
He is currently building Nihshreyasa, a holistic wellness studio in Kochi, Kerala, India, envisioned as a space for meditation, sound healing, and conscious community living.
Jerry invites others to join him in exploring the timeless wisdom of mindfulness, experiencing the beauty of the present moment, and cultivating a life filled with clarity, peace, and deep fulfilment.
